Elena Petrova

Elena Petrova was born in 1982. She is a professional artist and a member of the Eurasian Artistic Union. She lives and works in Sochi, Russia. Elena is originally from Siberia, from a small town in the Novosibirsk region. She lived in Barnaul for many years, but because of her love for the sea, she moved to live in Sochi. She painted her first oil painting at the age of 10. At that time, she didn’t even think that she would connect her life with art and creativity.

Elena paints in oil on canvas or dry pastel on paper. At the moment, more than 100 paintings and drawings have been created after more than 7 years of working with orders. She studies the influence of the sea on the human condition. Her paintings are in private collections, homes and offices in Russia, Great Britain, Romania, and Singapore, and in online galleries such as SaatchiArt and Artmajeur.
Elena's goal is to become a best selling artist during her lifetime. She wants everyone to have her paintings hanging in their home or office, symbolizing individuality, freedom and strength.
